Short Story Publication Process for Amateur Writers

There is no requirement for your stories to fit into a specific genre, but it is crucial that they are original, engaging, and free from clichés. We prefer to avoid stories that resemble the soap operas often seen on TV. We appreciate stories that showcase creativity, such as those in the science fiction, supernatural, thriller, and psychological genres. If you wish to write a romantic story, consider using a poetic language or a unique approach.

Stories with little or no dialogue are much easier to convert into videos using AI. Therefore, we kindly ask you not to submit theater-style stories. Please ensure that any dialogue in your story does not exceed 10% of the total content. To achieve an ideal video length, we recommend that your story be between 2,000 and 5,000 words.

Here are some additional tips to consider:

• Give names to your main character and supporting characters. Especially describe the main character's appearance and personality so we can visualize them.
• Ensure that your protagonist undergoes a transformation as a result of the events they experience throughout the story. By the end, they could be wiser, stronger, kinder, etc. Clearly convey this change and prepare a compelling conclusion.
• While not mandatory, you should provide reasons for every detail you mention. For example, if you write, "Harry wore his favorite blue shirt," explain why it is his favorite shirt. If you prefer not to explain, you can simply write, "Harry got dressed and left the house."
